Consultations on how to achieve Estonian citizenship

We offer free language courses and training courses on the Constitution and the Citizenship Act for people who wish to become Estonian citizens. This year, we will be organising information sessions to introduce our services in more detail and answer questions from interested parties.

Upcoming Info Sessions:

  • October 30 at 10:00 (online, in Russian). Registration is OPEN in self-service.
  • November 27 at 10:00 (online, in Russian). Registration will open on October 29, 2025 at self-service.
  • December 11 at 10:00 (online, in English). Registration is OPEN in self-service.

Kodanikuõpe

International Conference of Integration to Focus on Social Resilience and Unity

On 12 November, the traditional International Conference of Integration will take place under the theme “Unity and Diversity – Searching for Balance.” The event will explore how to maintain a sense of social cohesion amid rapid changes, rising tensions, and growing polarization.

The integration conference, organised by the Integration Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, will bring  together leading researchers and practitioners from Estonia and abroad for the twelfth time.

“Finding a balance between unity and diversity is an ongoing process that requires awareness, empathy, and a willingness to listen to one another. The conference provides a space where participants can explore ways to strengthen cohesion and resilience in our society,” said Dmitri Moskovtsev, Director of the Integration Foundation.

The conference will be opened by Minister of Culture Heidy Purga. Researchers and practitioners from Estonia, the UK, Ireland, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Ukraine, and other countries will discuss how societies can remain strong and resilient in times of change.

“Renowned experts will share their experiences and answer questions. For example, Professor Wolfgang Merkel from the Berlin Social Science Center, whose research focuses on democratic resilience and social polarization, will speak. Professor Zsuzsa Csergő from Queen’s University, studying nationalism and democracy in diverse societies, will also contribute to the discussions,” explained Marianna Makarova, Head of Conference Programme.

As in previous years, the programme will also include a political debate featuring Estonia’s parliamentary parties.

The conference will be held at Hilton Tallinn Park. Participants can attend in person with prior registration or follow the sessions online. All presentations and discussions will be available with simultaneous interpretation in Estonian, English, and Russian.

Tähistame koos eesti raamatu aastat! 2025. aastal möödub 500 aastat esimese eestikeelse raamatu ilmumisest. Külastame erakordset eesti kirjaniku Mati Undi muuseumi, mis asub Kadriorus aadressil L. Koidula 17. See on maja, kus kirjanik Mati Unt elas aastatel 1995-2005. Maja esimesel korrusel ootab uus püsinäitus.
