Film “Ice Nomads” (53 minutes)
Austria | 2026 | 53 min | original language: English | subtitles: Estonian
Original title: *Ice Nomads*

On board a 15-metre sailing boat, a crew sets off for another world, like astronauts conquering a distant planet.

They are on their way to meet A23A, the oldest and largest iceberg in the world. For four decades, this giant, measuring 70km long by 60km wide, 38 times the size of Paris, has been wandering like a comet in one of the world's most dangerous seas, east of Cape Horn.
The story begins in 1986 in Antarctica when A23A broke away from a glacier releasing an ice island 300 meters thick, 75 km long, and 60 km wide. A trillion tons of ice drifted away from the continent and out to sea. A 30-metre-high ice cliff stretched as far as the eye could see, with the remaining 90% under water! Thus began the extraordinary journey of a fragment of Antarctica that became much more than an iceberg...

Its life, marked by strandings, sudden changes of direction, traps set by currents, assaults by monstrous storms, fractures, but also by the enrichment of the waters attracting a rich fauna around it, make it a true character in an adventure film.
After 39 years of existence, the megaberg is approaching an island where millions of birds and marine mammals live, their lives hanging in the balance depending on the trajectory of this ice monster.
It is at this moment that the crew joins the ice titan.

Film "Home to Many”
Germany | 2026 | 56 min | original language: English | subtitles: Estonian

After moving to a new city a family of mice leads me to spend more and more time in a park nearby. This way I also encounter other inhabitants like red squirrels, mallards, geese, mute swans and the rose-ringed parakeets. Even though the city park is a rather ordinary place, with animals everyone seems to already know, you can observe the most incredible things here.
